October 13th is World Thrombosis Day! World Thrombosis Day is an international campaign devoted to bringing community awareness to health conditions related to blood clots. Blood clots can take many forms and be life-threatening condition that occurs in 1 in 4 people worldwide each year.
Deep venous thrombosis is the most common form of thrombosis, and its signs and symptoms are not well recognized in many communities. As vein specialists, we are committed to raise awareness about the signs and symptoms and treatment options for DVT.
Celebrate World Thrombosis Day 2023 with Inovia Vein
In recognition of this milestone, we are teaming up with local healthcare providers to host two special community events:
In Bend: Join us on Friday, October 13 from 5-8pm for our Community Block Party at On Tap located at 1424 NE Cushing Drive, Bend, OR.
On Tap, on the east side, at the food cart lot across from St. Charles, Summit and the Bend Surgery center on the east side of Bend.
In Portland: Join us on Friday, October 13 from 5-7pm for the Happy Valley Block Party at the Happy Valley Station Food Carts located at 13551 SE 145th Ave, Happy Valley, OR.
Additional Parking is available at Eastridge Church on 142nd.
