A Beautiful Evening of Music, Connection, and Education

This summer, Inovia Vein Specialty Centers had the honor of being invited to provide valuable leg health and deep vein thrombosis (DVT) education at the 12th Annual Concert Under the Stars, benefiting the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. The event featured incredible performances by Nate Botsford, Anna Gilbert, and band, creating a memorable evening filled with music, connection, and community support.

We were deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve and support the brave individuals who have risked – and continue to risk – their lives for our country.

Honoring Heroes Through Health Education

The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund provides critical support to U.S. military personnel suffering from traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and post-traumatic stress (PTS). By raising awareness of venous disease and DVT prevention during this event, our team was proud to contribute to an evening honoring those who serve.

Community Connection That Inspires

One of the special moments of the evening came when a former patient stopped by our educational booth to share their story. They explained that they had received treatment at our Happy Valley clinic from Dr. Lauren Wikholm, and described the care they received as truly life-changing.

Moments like these remind us why community outreach is so important. When we reconnect with patients, see their improved quality of life, and hear how vein treatment has made a difference, it inspires our team. These experiences reaffirm our mission to provide world-class, patient-centered care and community education that truly make a lasting impact on people’s lives.

Thank You to Our Partner: SIGVARIS GROUP

We would like to extend a special thank-you to our valued industry partner, SIGVARIS GROUP, for their support in helping us provide blood clot education materials at the event. In addition, they generously donated professional measuring tools, which helped provide attendees with their compression stocking measurements to ensure proper fit and efficacy.

Looking Ahead: World Thrombosis Day – October 13

With World Thrombosis Day approaching on October 13, we remain committed to raising awareness about blood clots and other venous health conditions. Community events like Concert Under the Stars are an essential part of spreading education and encouraging early diagnosis and treatment.
