Christine Baldwin is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) who joined the Inovia Vein team in Autumn of 2021. She is originally from Northern California. Before becoming a PA, she spent over twelve years in various roles in the medical field including starting out as an US Army medic, a medical assistant, a perinatal case manager and emergency medical technician.
Christine completed her Bachelor’s degree at Humboldt State University (Arcata, CA) where she majored in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science. From there she went on to complete her Physician Assistant training at the University of Washington – School of Medicine (Seattle, WA).
She now specializes entirely in the care of patients with venous disorders including venous insufficiency and deep venous thrombosis. Christine’s main goal as a provider is to make her patients feel good about their time at Inovia and the results they see. She loves teaching patients about vein care, and views the patient/provider relationship as a team effort where shared decision-making is practiced and where thorough discussions lead to a well-informed decision and outcome
Outside of work, Christine loves to spend time outdoors with her husband and their young son. She is a huge dog lover and has a chocolate lab and dachshund of her own. Other hobbies include hiking, camping, reading, gardening, and travelling (mostly to National Parks). On a rainy day you can find her doing arts and crafts or watching old classic movies.
After recently becoming a mom, she’s become more of a proponent for self-care. She loves supporting other caregivers and helping them learn how to prioritize their own self-care.
