March marks Blood Clot Awareness Month, a nationwide effort to educate communities about Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and other serious vascular conditions. At Inovia Vein Specialty Centers, our mission is to empower individuals with lifesaving knowledge and accessible, patient centered vascular care.
On March 12th, our team proudly participated in the Inspire HER Conference at the Hilton Vancouver Washington – an event hosted by the Greater Vancouver Chamber and presented by Johnson Bixby. With more than 600 professionals in attendance, the conference offered an exceptional opportunity to share vital education on blood clot prevention, vascular health, and overall wellness.
A Gathering Dedicated to Growth, Inclusion, and Leadership
The Inspire HER Conference is more than a networking event – it is a movement celebrating the advancement of professional women across all industries. Designed to foster leadership, inclusion, and meaningful connection, the conference brought together individuals committed to personal and professional growth.
The atmosphere was filled with energy and purpose. Attendees engaged in thoughtful conversations, built new relationships, and strengthened existing ones in a space intentionally created for collaboration and empowerment. The spirit of “lifting one another up” resonated throughout the day, and we are already looking forward to Inspire HER 2027.
Advancing DVT Awareness and Leg Health Education in Vancouver, WA
As part of our involvement, Inovia Vein provided education on DVT warning signs, risk factors, and prevention strategies. Community outreach is central to our mission, and events like Inspire HER allow us to extend our impact beyond the clinic and into workplaces, organizations, and community groups across Vancouver and Southwest Washington.
“Blood clots are often silent until they become dangerous. When people understand the early signs and know when to seek care, we can help them obtain early treatment and prevent potentially life-threatening complications.” – Dr. Lauren Wikholm, Inovia Vein
Participating during Blood Clot Awareness Month reinforced the importance of early detection and proactive venous care – two critical factors in improving patient outcomes.
