Building Connections: Dr. Cody Laverdiere Leads Provider Outreach in Central Oregon

A Passionate Specialist Returns to Central Oregon

Inovia Vein Specialty Centers are proud to welcome Cody Laverdiere, DO, a Vein and Lymphatic Medicine Specialist and Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician, to our Bend, Oregon location.

Dr. Laverdiere and his family are thrilled to have returned to Central Oregon. With deep roots in the area and a strong dedication to patient-centered care, Dr. Laverdiere is looking forward to reconnecting with the medical community and building trusted, collaborative relationships with local providers.

The Importance of Collaboration in Vein and Lymphatic Care

For Dr. Laverdiere, forming meaningful partnerships with referring providers is essential to ensuring patients receive the highest quality care.
“When providers connect early and establish trust, patients benefit from a seamless continuum of care,” says Dr. Laverdiere. “Venous and lymphatic conditions often present through a wide range of symptoms, so collaboration is key to early diagnosis and treatment.”
Many patients experiencing symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency – such as leg swelling, achiness, pain, heaviness, or visible veins – often seek help from providers in primary care, family medicine, dermatology, podiatry, pain management, or other specialties before learning that their symptoms may be vein-related. That’s why education and referral coordination between practices are so vital to timely, accurate diagnoses and improved outcomes.

Raising Awareness About Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)

Dr. Laverdiere is deeply committed to provider and community outreach to raise awareness about leg health and deep vein thrombosis (DVT) – a potentially life-threatening condition caused by blood clots forming in the deep veins of the legs.

Testimony Meet and Greet Cody Kari Ed.2025.10.16

This October, Inovia Vein concluded its World Thrombosis Day educational campaign with a Provider Meet & Greet at the beautiful Testimony Wine Bar in Redmond, Oregon. The event was designed to bring providers together from a variety of specialties to foster collaboration and enhance awareness of comprehensive vein care.

In attendance were Kari Nelson, Head of Operations, and Dr. Edward Boyle, Founder and Director of Inovia Vein Specialty Centers, who shared reflections on the organization’s mission and nearly two decades of community impact.
