Varicose Vein Treatment Results

This is a 60-year-old woman who had many years of varicose veins with pain, ache, and swelling. She underwent radiofrequency endovenous ablation with several sessions of sclerotherapy. Results were captured 2 years after the first photo.

This 54-year-old female had long-standing varicose veins with increasing stasis dermatitis & skin breakdown. She was experiencing aching, heaviness and swelling with severe itching and occasionally bleeding from the wounds.  After undergoing GSV (Great Saphenous Vein) ablation with Radiofrequency Ablation and branch vein sclerotherapy, she found prompt relief in terms of healing and itching. One year later, her symptoms are now minimal.

This is a 45-year-old man who had painful calf varicose veins with ankle swelling that worsened as the day went on. He underwent greater saphenous vein ablation with Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) using Closurefast with phlebectomy of the branch veins. This resulted in clearing of the visible varicose veins, and marked resolution of his symptoms.

This is a patient who had some painful and achy veins on the back of the knee. These were treated with ambulatory phlebectomy. While there are still some small visible reticular veins, the majority of the bulging veins are gone after one treatment session. Additional treatment sessions could be utilized with sclerotherapy to clean up the remnant reticular veins if desired.

38-year-old woman with pain, heaviness, and swelling at the end of the day despite the use of compression hose.  She underwent Closurefast RFA of the great saphenous veins with two sessions of branch vein sclerotherapy. She reported prompt resolution of her symptoms and the veins faded away over several months.

This 31-year-old female came to Inovia Vein with complaints of large varicose veins and the development of dark skin by the ankles with skin itching. She was treated with Venaseal of her great saphenous vein (GSV). She had follow up sclerotherapy. After the procedure, she reported less leg swelling, ache, skin changes and itching. She also stated she was happy with the appearance after the procedures.

This is a 38-year-old male who had numerous bulging varicose veins, mostly in his upper thigh, all based off his greater saphenous vein (GSV). He underwent endovenous ablation using Closurefast RFA with branch vein phlebectomy. After, he reported his symptoms of ache, throbbing, dermatitis and leg swelling resolved considerably.

This is a 55-year-old male with large, ropy varicose veins that started in his thigh, then wrapped around to the medial leg toward the back. He had throbbing, ache, and tenderness of his veins as the day went on. He reported leg swelling each day, that would resolve at night. The ankle skin was starting to itch and he noted more discoloration of his ankles at the end of the day. He underwent Endovenous Ablation with Closurefast RFA of this Greater Saphenous Vein with branch vein sclerotherapy. He reported this resulted in a marked resolution in his symptoms after the procedure.

This is 54-year-old male with severe stasis dermatitis and ankle discoloration due to long standing varicose veins. Over time, this can lead to inflammation of the skin and ultimately breakdown of that skin to form a venous stasis ulcer. He underwent Closurefast RFA of his greater saphenous vein (GSV) with sclerotherapy. After the procedure, the veins faded away and the skin healed considerably. He reported that the severe itching he had by the ankle had gone away as well.

This is a patient who had a number of ropy veins tender veins around the knee and calf. This patient had endovenous ablation of the greater saphenous vein (GSV) with Closurefast RFA with phlebectomy. Not only do the veins fade, but also many of the symptoms of pain, tiredness and swelling had resolved as early as two weeks postoperatively.

This 45-year-old woman who had varicose veins related to her greater saphenous vein with large branches varicosities that extended all the way to her ankle.  She was treated with RFA of the greater saphenous vein along with two sessions of sclerotherapy to treat the branch tributary veins.

46-year-old woman who underwent Closurefast RFA of the great saphenous and anterior saphenous vein with branch vein sclerotherapy. She had some initial discoloration of the skin known as shadowing over the treated veins that faded in the subsequent months.
