I recently had ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy for a single, small but bulging varicose vein and couldn’t be happier with the result. The procedure was explained thoroughly beforehand, which put me at ease. Using ultrasound guidance made everything precise and efficient. I experienced zero discomfort during the treatment, and recovery was surprisingly easy— wearing a compression sock for 7 days. There was no down time. I did experience a dime sized, very light bruise at the sight of the single injection I received. My leg looks so much better. The unsightly vein disappeared immediately after the procedure. I was amazed. The staff was very professional, efficient, caring, and made the whole experience comfortable from start to finish. I highly recommend ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy—it worked wonderfully for me!

Both in the exam room, or during a procedure, Dr. Laverdiere has an awesome patient-doctor manner as such in listening and explaining what is happening, and how to proceed in such a way you easily understand.
