Ralph Delius, MD

Background

Ralph Delius, M.D. is a cardiac and thoracic surgeon who now focuses exclusively on the diagnosis and treatment of venous disorders, including varicose veins, deep vein thrombosis, leg swelling, lymphedema, and venous leg ulcers. He brings more than three decades of surgical experience and academic leadership to Inovia Vein Specialty Clinics.

Dr. Delius earned his undergraduate degree from California State University, Northridge and his medical degree from the University of California, Davis. He completed his general surgery residency and a cell biology research fellowship at the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers. He went on to pursue advanced training through a cardiac surgery fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and a cardiothoracic surgery residency at the University of Iowa College of Medicine.

Dr. Delius is highly experienced in vein and vascular care as well as the treatment of venous leg wounds. Prior to joining Inovia, he provided advanced venous care at Vein Specialists of the South in Georgia. He now resides in Beaverton, Oregon, with his wife.
