Education and Experience
She went to college at Western Michigan University obtaining a bachelor’s degree in 2011, majoring in Interdisciplinary Health Services with a minor in Biological Sciences. After working for 6 years in various medical settings, she began her Physician Assistant education at Heritage University in Toppenish, WA, completing her master’s degree in May 2019.
Liz will be working with Dr. Jason Gilster to see new and established patients as a mid-level provider at our Tigard location, developing and implementing treatment plans for leg edema, varicose veins, deep and superficial venous thromboses, spider veins, and venous stasis ulcers. She prides herself as having an accepting and welcoming demeanor with her patients and enjoys seeing patients from all backgrounds. As an example she sees patients who present with leg symptoms of ache and swelling or venous ulcers. She can perform the initial assessment and order vascular lab studies, when indicated. She can also help advise on treatment options, including conservative therapy such as compression hose, exercise, elevation and other approaches. She can also see patients suspected of or found to have DVT. She will help patients in their postoperative recovery as well. Liz enjoys building rapport with her patients and ensuring their satisfaction following consultations and treatments. She works closely with Dr. Gilster and can help patient through their vein treatment journey from beginning to end.
Inovia Vein’s Tigard Location
Liz sees patients in our Tigard location. This practice is at Bridgeport Village, making it easy to find. This area serves a large area south of downtown Portland, Oregon not only including Tigard, but also Tualatin, Lake Oswego, Hillsboro, Beaverton, West Linn and others.
